Publisher's summary

The year is 1969. Though there is war and unrest in the world, on August 15th, on a farm in upstate New York, a little concert will go down in history as the most famous music festival of our time: Woodstock. It also happens to be the day Bonnie McMillan and Peter Hampton meet and begin their free-spirited love-filled journey with each other. Fast forward 47 years. Bonnie unexpectedly passes after a night of hot sex and is whisked up to Purgatory, or "The Green Room". Bonnie's best friend meets her at the pearly green gates and the fun begins, from body sculpting to channeling. Follow Bonnie on her erotically incorrect quest to re-connect with the love of her life. Or at the very least, make sure the sex toys are hidden before the kids start sorting through her things!

Breath of Fresh Air

I love this book! It was short, witty, unique and entertaining. Narration was great. I literally laughed out loud several times due to the crazy situations the characters would get into. Don't we all want to find love in the afterlife? Thanks for this fun read.

**Note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. It in no way affected my opinion of this book.

Fun for lunch!

This was such a fun story to listen to! I don't normally read/listen to the "mature" stories but this one was fun and enjoyable and a quick listen while I was cleaning my house. I will definitely look for more!

Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine

Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine by J.D. Frettier
Narrated by Hollie Jackson
Five Stars

Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine is the first book in the Green Room Chronicles by J.D. Frettier. This is the first book I have listened to by this author, and I have to say it is the most unique book I have every read. This rom-com is full of steamy situations and hilarious recollections. We meet Bonnie McMillan as she is passing into the afterlife. Her best friend, Dee, who passed away years earlier is there to help her with the transition to life in “The Green Room”. This short story had me hooked from the very first page. The witty dialog and funny but sensitive topics discussed had me thinking, I hope it is truly like this after I pass. I can't wait to listen to the next story in this series, I hope it continues in the truly entertaining vein.
This is the first book I have listened to narrated by Hollie Jackson. I loved it she really brought the characters to life. Her voice was smooth and easy to listen to.

A Hot Take on the Afterlife!

Never judge a book by its length. This audiobook may have been the shortest one that I've ever listened to, but it ranks as one of my top favorites. It has steam, hijinks and adventure in what is an amazing depiction of what happens 'after'. I cannot wait to pick up the next book in the series. If you are a fan of the hippie movement and want to see a flower child stumble through what seems to be an amazing afterlife, grab this book, put on your headphones, and settle in!

Amazing

This was my very first audio book (excluding those from middle and elementary school).

This was a very enjoyable book. The narrator had the perfect voice for this read. The author created such a good read. I listened to this straight through without pause because I was completely locked within the story. I enjoyed it and look forward to more audio books and books in general from this author and books read by this narrator.

I, Amber McCarty (Imaginative Dreams), I was given a copy for an honest review.
