Audie Award, Erotica, 2016

One kinky doctor + one indecent proposal = one life-changing week in Paris.

Elaine Watkins, Public Relations Advisor, is surprised when she receives a summons from the very attractive and enigmatic Dr. Xavier Vincent. She worships the talented physician and company icon responsible for developing the cure that saved her sister's life and isn't immune to his charm. Even though puzzled by his request, she is excited and eager to get started on his latest project.

But Dr. Vincent has other ideas. Instead of discussing cures, drugs and marketing strategies, he asks Elaine to join him in Paris to indulge his unique sexual appetites.

Torn between gratitude for saving her sister, her attraction for the powerful man and compromising her preconceived notions of sexuality, she must decide if it's easier to feed his desires or walk away. Until she devises a plan of her own.

"Make no mistake, Elaine, I am a king. Kings command and conquer. They are brutal and uncompromising. You don't want a king. Face it, you came here expecting a saint." - Dr. Xavier Vincent

This is a MEGA HOT listen... Perfect Narrators

Where does Curing Doctor Vincent rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love audio books. I mostly listen to romance audio books, so I’m really picky about listening to books that can keep my interests. I usually listen to books based on my mood. I was very much in the mood to listen to something a little kinky, taboo and with lots of steam. Renea delivered. I even re-listened to some of the parts with my husband because the performance was just top notch. It’s a great audio.

What did you like best about this story?

The audio narration was the best part and uncovering Vincent’s past. The narrators really got me into the story. I was wondering about Vincent’s past and why he is the way he is and how he could just be okay with the things he was doing. I liked getting to know Vincent. I also liked Elaine’s and Vincent’s intense relationship.

What about Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward ’s performance did you like?

This was my first narration by Erin and Noah. Erin did a fabulous job. I think it’s very difficult to transition from Elaine’s character to just simply narrating the story. I could easily following and understand when she was being the character and when she was reading the book.

The star of the show was Noah. He only spoke during his parts and I have no idea how he made the book flow so easily. Noah pops in and out during the male parts and like I said, at first it throws you off (if you have never experienced it), but eventually you can’t imagine it any other way. I LOVE his voice. It’s so deep and he gets REALLY into it.

Erin and Noah worked so well together. It was really easy, light and it just flowed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I can listen to it all in one sitting. I would suggest listening to it in private because some parts will make you super blush. It’s also a fairly short audio book, but just enough to give you what you need. You will be very satisfied and happy when you are done.

Any additional comments?

Full Book Review:

4.25 Mega Hott Read < --- I’m talking, on FIRE read.

Okay, so fans of Olivia Cunning and Nicole Edwards, you will have to read Curing the Doctor Vincent. Actually, you will have to AUDIO listen because I did and it was FANTASTIC!

One Woman + Two Men + One Man Watching = HAPPY TIMES ALL AROUND

I didn’t know anything about this story. I just knew it had a doctor (hence the title) and it was an audio book with two narrators (I tend to like narrators with both male and female), so why not right?!

I had no idea what kind of world I was stepping into. I will put that tiny disclaimer here, this is a PURE erotic book. If you don’t like overly steamy books, then this will not be for you and let me just say this, you are crazy if you don’t like that kind of books, but to each their own.
This was my kind of cuppa.

Elaine is a PR rep for Dr. Xavier Vincent. Vincent (the Good Doctor) asks Elaine to work on a project with him. The thing is, he lives in Paris. When she travels to Paris to meet up with Vincent, she gets more than what she bargains for.

Vincent is a man with many many many flaws (isn’t that the case though and don’t we love it?). He also has one tiny issue. He doesn’t want to have relationships with women, physically. Meaning, he likes to watch and not only does he like to watch he likes to watch two men having relations with his girl.

Vincent is an interesting Hero. It’s not that he’s all for sharing, okay he is all for sharing, but he generally likes his women. He and his ex-wife had this relationship and it worked for them. So he propositions Elaine.

For one week Vincent wants Elaine. He wants to watch her do the dirty with two men while he watches **GASP** oh it’s so taboo and so awesome at the same time.

Here’s the thing that WORKED so well for me. The book is written in Elaine’s POV, BUT the male parts are narrated by Vincent. Now, this threw me off at first, because I’m use to dual POV and you know, the male POV is narrated by the male and the female POV is narrated by the female, but I’ve never listened to a female POV book where the male jumps in during the male parts. That is usually voiced by the female with a deeper voice. Anyhow, let’s just say that ALL books should be narrated like Curing Doctor Vincent. It completely worked for me.

Vincent works with Elaine to show her what kind of man he is and what his tastes are. Not only he likes to watch, but he likes to direct. It’s his way of making love with his woman. Elaine has never done anything like this before, but come on, you throw a girl in a room with three hot men, how could she say no?

Overall, the book is a short read, but that because it’s a trilogy, don’t worry, there’s no epic cliffy, you will be very happy with the ending. Like I said, it’s an overly steamy book, but I liked that. The parts with Elaine, Marco, Sebastian and Dr. Vincent were my favorite (obviously). We do find out why Vincent is the way he is and I liked uncovering his past, so it’s not all steam.

I’m very excited for the next book and I will of course listen to it on audio. I can’t imagine this series any other way.

Great Story, Hot Sex and Amazing Narration!

I really enjoyed this story. It was a super Hot book with a lot more than just sex but had a lot of that too! In the beginning I thought it was going to be an insta-love story but it really wasn't as they both knew so much about each other before either of them actually met and they had some very important life changing things that connected them. Doctor Vincent was a damaged character and that helps to make the story believable. I love the friendships in this book, Doctor Vincent has true friends that would do anything for him and that just makes him even more likable for me. There was no long drawn out drama because of a misunderstanding, another HUGE plus for me. It had an "I never saw that coming" story line which is always great. The ending left things ready for book 2 but it wasn't a cliffhanger. Oh and did I say THIS BOOK IS HOT!!!

The narration was also awesome! At first I didn't know if I liked this back and forth style of dual narration but once I got into the book I really did like it. No annoying men trying to sound like women or visa versa. These narrators have a great chemistry that comes through incredibly well in this recording. Oh and they both do the sexy scenes amazingly well!

Can't wait for the next book in this series to come out. Even if the eBook releases 1st I will be waiting for the Audiobook just to hear these two narrators together again! If you love a good romance, super HOT sexy scenes and an unexpected twist then I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK!!!

Sizzle, Sizzle, Burn, Burn!

How do you adequately talk about a book you loved so much your having a hard time putting your thoughts down. I know you gush like a school girl.

OMG Dr. Vincent is holy freaking HOT. I can’t even talk about Marco or Sebastian. I mean that’s too much hotness for one book!!

I am getting a head of myself. Elaine is forever grateful to Doctor Vincent for saving her sisters life. But she lusts after the Dr. something fierce. Elaine isn't having such a great time, her father is a horrible man and his past choices affect her everyday life.

When the opportunity arises for her to join Dr. Vincent in Paris she goes. I sure as heck would!!
You have to ask your self is it ok to perv on the good Doctor.. The answer is always YES!

Unexpected proposition….

“Insanity, he couldn't be serious, could he?” – Oh but he is Elaine, oh but he is.

Doctor V gets under your skin you feel for him and his past and his present; he is still struggling.
Elaine is just trying to make sense of what life has thrown at her. So why not do as her body wants?

“Your past is pulling your strings.” - No truer word for either of them.

Something I really liked about Elaine is how she doesn't take anything at face value, she believes the Doctor can be cured and she is on a mission to help.

I have read a lot and listened to a lot of books…. I think this is the hottest book I have EVER had the pleasure of reading/listening too…. I seriously think this book has ruined me for any other. My mind is blown, put a fork in me I am done. In the best kind of way!

Shocked isn't even a strong enough word to describe how this book got to me, the story is beautiful and heart breaking and heart mending.

This is everything.

“But you do, remember you can’t lie to me, it might be Marco inside of you but never forget to whom you are making love. Marco, show her.”

Can we talk about the narration for a second.. OMG I can’t even the .. You know.. Those were like.. OMG.. The breathing and the.. Yeah you need this book in your life it’s amazing and yeah . I can’t even talk about how Noah’s voice makes me feel.. Worth the Credit, worth the money, worth it all, no joke. I will be listing to this baby again no doubt!

Incredible audio performance, compelling story

Fantastic performance. I've never listened to a book that was performed like this before - with the female narrator reading the female dialog and the male narrator reading the male dialog. It made for a much more dynamic performance.

The story was great too. I couldn't wait to uncover Xavier's secrets. And the big reveal at the end was shocking. I can't wait to continue this series!

AMAZING....EROTIC LOVE STORY~~~~

The story of Elaine, a PR/Marketing rep who is the daughter of a serial killer, is one that will keep your attention and not let go. As you get to know her, you can relate to what she is going through, the trials she has endured, and you can admire her spirit to endure it all. She has moments that will endear her to you. Doctor Xavier Vincent has had a key role in her life, although peripheral. She is employed at his company, he cured her sister's cancer with a miracle drug, and he keeps appearing unannounced at her meetings. When he summons her to Paris, it is believed he wants something out of the ordinary, but what he presents her with is a life-changing sexual exploration. The Doctor has a presence that is so intriguing, you can completely understand why Elaine goes along with his proposal. Enter the other players, Marco and Sebastian, and the story will melt off the pages, wetting your panties, and whetting your own appetite for a good story. The Doctor will consume you, leaving you breathless, with an insatiable need for more. The story is well crafted, the mystery of the doctor is compelling, and the men are mouth-watering. Another five-star listen from Ms. Mason. I would recommend this to anyone who loves some sex served with a captivating story. The ending wraps everything up for this novel, but the anticipation of wanting more is heavy. Once you find out what has shaped the Doctor into the man he is today, you'll be looking forward to the next installment.

The narration by Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward was outstanding! The female narrator reading the female dialog and the male narrator reading the male dialog made for a much more dynamic performance.

I only ever score a book with 5 stars if the story is good enough to listen to again this falls into to that very elite category.

Outstanding!

Where does Curing Doctor Vincent rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is by far the best erotic romance I've ever listened to on Audible. You can just shut your eyes and imagine everything as it's happening. If someone is breathless, you can hear it in their voices! Just awesome!

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's so hard to choose! Marco, with his darkly sexy Italian accent? Or Elaine, as she screams Xavier's name? The Doctor, with his brusque, almost stilted, formality? Even Stanley, who I had no problem imaging as a balding, middle-aged bureaucrat! No, I couldn't possibly pick!

What about Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward ’s performance did you like?

The realism of their performance is unsurpassed! These two could have been actually enacting these scenes, as their breathing, moans, voices changed exactly as two people really getting it on!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A quote from the end of the book: "It's not the birth of the truth that causes the most agony; it's the death of the lie that leaves us crippled."

Any additional comments?

This story can't really be classified using only one genre. Yes, there is an erotic romance premise, but it is so much more than that. It's also very cerebral, and classy. Sometimes books that are classified as erotic romance can make you feel dirty, like you just finger-banged a five dollar prostitute. Curing Doctor Vincent is more on par with an erotic performance piece at the Museum of Modern Art.

Best Audiobook Narration EVER!

What made the experience of listening to Curing Doctor Vincent the most enjoyable?

The voice actors. Period. End of story. I LOVE audiobooks. But I have NEVER heard one narrated as well as Curing Doctor Vincent.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ugh, this is so tough! I loved them all, but I think I'm going to have to go with Doctor Vincent on this one. He has such breakthroughs in his own personal journey. And he helps Elaine to grow and change as well.

Plus, he sure knows his way around a woman! ;-)

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward – was your favorite?

I think my favorite 'voice' of a character was Noah as Marco, although Erin was AMAZING as Elaine. :)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Absolutely! I laughed out loud many times, I cried once, and let's just say...this was HOT!

Any additional comments?

I never want to listen to an audiobook narrated by anyone else ever again! So, SO good!

So sexy you can't stop listening to it!

If you could sum up Curing Doctor Vincent in three words, what would they be?

Hot, exciting, mysterious!

What did you like best about this story?

The suspense about Xavier Vincent's past

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward – was your favorite?

Xavier Vincent

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

I received an audio copy of this book from Book Enthusiast Promotions in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.

Oh my God. I can't believe what I just listened to. This book ruined me for other audio books. I think that from this point on, I will be comparing all other books I listen to with this book right here.

Let's start with the story. I have to admit that when I first heard of this book, I wasn't that sold out. I mean, I've tried many authors, and most of the time, if it's an author that's new to me, I end up getting disappointed. However, I did think the story was interesting.

Interesting is not even enough to describe the book. The truth is, this book is hot, scorching hot, thrilling, gripping. We have a hero who has demons and a heroine who just happens to be the daughter of a covicted serial killer. Together, they are electrifying. I wanted them to hook up from their very first scene together. When you ad the other two male characters? Oh my God!!!!

Now, with the audiobook, the sexy and steamy story was elevated to a whole new level. It was intensified, made clearer, became more alive. The narrators did am excellent job of giving life and voice to the main characters in the story. I think Noah Michael Levine just became my favorite male narrator because of this.

Curing Doctor Vincent is a first book in a series, and while it does not need in a cliffhanger, it does leave a lot of the story unresolved. I believe that more of Xavier Vincent's story will be delved further in the second book. Right now, I am very excited for Ms. Mason to release the next installment because Xavier has cast a spell on me, and I won't be at peace until I get to the end of his story.

Loved it.

What did you like best about this story?

The depth of the characters and the mystery.

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward – was your favorite?

Loved both characters.

Any additional comments?

The story starts off just like the ‘Story of O‘ which I really enjoyed but then takes us on a very interesting journey of 2 people falling in love. I thought the whole book was great and I loved how the depth of a characters was revealed along the way to a great conclusion.

I am giving this book 4.5 stars because I really enjoyed listening to it and I will definitely read the next book in the series. I am not yet sure who the next books will feature. All in all an enjoyable listen to a well written take on a classic.

An award winning performance...

I freaking love this book! Doctor Vincent is a troubled man in love with a woman he could never have. Doctor Vincent has a few friends to do to Elaine what he would like to do but can't. The results are explosive. This book has twists and turns one would never expect. I previously read this book in eBook version and the audio book made it feel like I have never read it before. This story is hot & erotic, yet not smutty at all. It actually has a fantastic plot and story line to it. The characters in it, Marco, Sebastian, Elaine, Doctor Vincent and even Marion all play a magical role in this story to make this book completely unforgettable.

The author, Renea Mason did a fantastic job writing this book. It has so much life and imagination in every paragraph! This book is so good, I just had to listen to the whole thing and I plan to listen to it several more times! I totally believe this book in the audio format is award worthy. The narrators, Noah Michael Levine & Erin Deward did a fantastic job delivering an award winning performance, breathing life into every word! These narrators add so much emotion and excitement making this story feel like it was real! What an incredible, wild ride! The accents are spot on too! The entire book, I kept saying OMG!!! I can't believe how good this book is! Fifty Shades of Gray has nothing on this book. Renea Mason makes Fifty Shades look like child's play! I can honestly see this book getting picked up by the movies! The ending is incredible! This entire book is just mind blowing!!!
